About PSSI
Portuguese Sandbox for Social Impact (PSSI) is an independent non-profit association established in Portugal. PSSI serves as a collaborative platform connecting researchers, practitioners, public institutions, civil society organisations and communities to design, test and implement innovative responses to social challenges.
Its work combines research, professional training, capacity building, social entrepreneurship and partnership development to strengthen individuals, organisations and communities. Through evidence-informed approaches and cross-sector collaboration, PSSI contributes to sustainable development and positive social impact in Portugal and beyond.
Statutory Objective
The association promotes social innovation, community well-being, human capital development, research, vocational and professional training, capacity-building programmes, social entrepreneurship, health and well-being initiatives, and collaboration across public, private and third sectors.
